The Palmerton Area Library Association is supported by
the Palmerton Area School District and by the following municipalities:
Palmerton Borough, Bowmanstown Borough, Lower Towamensing Township and
Towamensing Township.
Borrowing Limit:
10 books
for an adult card; 2 video tapes / DVD's
5 books for a juvenile card;
no video tapes or DVD's

weeks with 2 renewals (except new adult fiction - 1 week with no
renewals)
Audio books - 2 weeks with 2 renewals
Magazines - 2 weeks

Inter-library books—$0.50 per day and $1.00 for each book not picked up.
Renewals:
May
be made by telephone during regular business hours and also on our website
using the link below.
To renew your library books online
or to view your library lending history click on the "Renew Your Books"
link below. The first time you log on, your Patron Number is
your library barcode number with no spaces in
between the numbers and your pin number is 1234. Once you log in, you can then change your
pin number to whatever you want.
