Event Title: Giant Book Sale and Basket Auction!!

During the month of August, continuing through the Palmerton Community Festival weekend of September 12, the Friends of the Palmerton Area Library will sponsor a huge book sale in our basement along with a basket auction with baskets worth at least $25.00 each. Drawing will be held Monday September 14. You don't need to be present at the drawing to win. Over 2000 items for the sale including books, CD's, movies and puzzles. Lots of new items will be put out specifically for this sale. Tickets are $0.50 each or 3 for $1.00 and will go on sale August 1.

Children's Watercolor II Classes are for children who previously took the Watercolor I classes at the library. They are being offered on Tuesday evenings from August 18 thru September 15 from 6:00 - 7:30 PM. This class is now full.

The Teen Advisory Group is for students in grades 7-12 and meets at the library after school on the first Wednesday of each month. New members are always welcome. During the summer months, the group will be painting and remodeling their new basement center.
