On Mondays and Wednesdays from 3:00 - 4:15 PM, adults and high school students will be available to assist students from grades 1-8 with their homework assignments. Help for junior high students is from 3:00 - 4:00 PM. Help for elementary students is from 3:15 - 4:15 PM.

Students who attend must have homework assignments to complete or a school project to work on! Students must have parental permission! If you would like your child to take advantage of this opportunity, please complete the form found under the header Youth Services on the main page of our website or stop in at the library to fill out a paper form and return the form to the library as soon as possible.

This is not a one-on-one tutoring program, but an opportunity for students to complete homework, get help with difficult assignments, and work together with other students to complete projects

Need To Type A Simple Letter Or Note? Learn to use Word with menus and toolbars to accomplish basic tasks including selecting/highlighting, scrolling, saving and printing. Create, edit, revise and format a document. Work with Spell Check, the Dictionary, Help menu, and Clipart.

Need To Keep Records Or Create A Mailing List? Excel spreadsheets are an easy way to work with lists and data in columns. Learn how to make labels and to work with tables, charts, and spreadsheets.

Create A Simple Presentation. With PowerPoint, use shape, color, and graphic images using slides. Add music, video, and photos.

The course runs for four consequtive Thursdays from May 4 through May 25 at 5:00 - 7:00 PM. The cost for this course is $20.00. The fee must be paid prior to the the course as class size is limited. Any questions, please call the library at 610-826-3424.
