Event Title: Homework Helpers 3:00 - 4:15 PM

On Mondays and Wednesdays from 3:00 - 4:15 PM, adults and high school students will be available to assist students from grades 1-8 with their homework assignments. Help for junior high students is from 3:00 - 4:00 PM. Help for elementary students is from 3:15 - 4:15 PM.
Students who attend must have homework assignments to complete or a school project to work on! Students must have parental permission! If you would like your child to take advantage of this opportunity, please complete the form found under the header Youth Services on the main page of our website or stop in at the library to fill out a paper form and return the form to the library as soon as possible.
This is not a one-on-one tutoring program, but an opportunity for students to complete homework, get help with difficult assignments, and work together with other students to complete projects

Event Title: Third Monday Book Club noon-1:15 PM

An adult book club is being offered at the Palmerton Area Library. This month's book is "Jude The Obscure" by Thomas Hardy. The club meets the third Monday of each month at the library. Readers may bring a bag lunch and attend the book club from noon - 1:15 PM. Extra copies of the selected books are available in the library. Stop in the library for more information. New members are always welcome.

Event Title: Handcrafted Items Auction

The library is sponsoring a handcrafted items auction starting Nov. 6 through Dec. 4. This is a fundraiser for the library. The auction features knitted items, crocheted items, quilted items, jewelry, wooden items, dolls, Christmas items, etc. Donations for this fundraiser will be accepted through Nov. 1.
